The Andriessen/De Klerk Foundation

The Andriessen/De Klerk Foundation was set up in 1999. Its main purpose is to make the artistic inheritance of the composers Hendrik Andriessen and Albert de Klerk more available to the public by organising or supporting concerts every year in which the music of Hendrik Andriessen and Albert de Klerk and the composers close to them play a major role.

In addition the foundation collects compositions written by both composers for specific occasions which have the character of subtle, personal and charming gestures for birthdays, weddings and other special moments in the lives of their circle of friends, family and acquaintances.

The foundation publishes a newsletter twice a year with information including news about both musicians and their work. The Foundation is able to function through voluntary contributions by enthusiasts and by subsidy from some other foundations. For more information: www.andriessendeklerkstichting.nl
